Rate card · ZAR · flat per operation
One price for the farm, not for each person on it.
A herd count, a diesel draw or a milking is only worth recording if the person at the crush, the pump and the parlour is in the system. Charging per login produces one shared login — and then the record belongs to nobody. So the price is flat per operation, and nobody is counted.

What counts as an operation
An operation is one farming business with one set of books. Every farm, field, herd, machine and person that business runs is inside the one price, however many farms it spans and however many people sign in. It has one sign-in address and one Xero organisation. Two businesses that keep separate books are two operations, even under one owner — the same farm leased out to a second business is a second operation too.
Each plan contains the one before it. Nothing is taken away when you move up, so an upgrade is only ever an addition. The core is in every plan — the dashboard, the reports, the farm and field register, the asset register, notes and settings — and is never sold separately. The large figure includes VAT at 15%; the figure beneath it is what an invoice line carries before VAT.
What is in each plan
7 modules, and the core under all of them
A module is a set of screens. Where a plan does not include a module the cell is a dash, which in this app means exactly that: none of it. The assistant is the one module sold on top of any plan, and its price is beside it.

An add-on is bought on top of a plan and is never revoked by a plan change: the gate is materialised from the plan and the add-ons together, so re-applying a plan cannot take away something sold separately.
Getting started
Setup is scoped, then quoted, before you sign
The second figure on any rate card, and the one usually left unexplained. There is no flat setup fee here because there is no flat farm: it is scoped against what has to be loaded, each line with a stated amount, and you see the arithmetic before it is an invoice.
What moves it
- Farms and fields to map — boundaries drawn or imported, sites pinned.
- Herds and animals to load — the opening count as at the cut-off, individual animals where tracked.
- Seasons in flight — anything already planted, with what has been applied to date.
- Opening stock and the trading counterparts — plans with trading only.
- The Xero connection and its mappings — your chart of accounts and tracking categories.
- Phones and the WhatsApp number — plans with field capture only.
A spreadsheet we can import costs less than a whiteboard we have to read. The scale asks what shape your data is in, not just how much of it there is.
What actually happens, week by week
An implementation is a run of phases with named milestones and a sign-off at the end of each — the same plan the delivery team works to, not a sales summary of it. The four things only you can do are named up front, because each stops the implementation when it is late.
How we get you goingHow the bill behaves
The rules, stated where a client can hold us to them
Each of these is true of the product as built, not a promise about a future one.
One price per operation. Nobody is counted. The herd manager, the bookkeeper, the foreman with the phone and the vet at the crush all sign in under the same flat price. A per-login charge produces one shared login, and then the record belongs to nobody.
A plan contains the one before it. Nothing is taken away when you move up. A downgrade closes a gate and never deletes the data behind it, so a module switched off is a module you can switch on again with everything still there.
The price you agreed is the price you pay. A subscription snapshots the figure at signing. A later change to the catalogue never re-prices a live contract.
Support is in the price, up to the plan’s hours. Each plan states the support hours a month it was priced on. Time beyond them is billed by the hour, and agreed with you before the work starts — never found on an invoice afterwards.
Setup is scoped, then quoted, before you sign. Farms and fields to map, herds and animals to load, seasons in flight, opening stock, the Xero connection, phones to hand out. Each is a line with a stated amount, and you see the arithmetic before it is an invoice.
The assistant is priced on its own. Ask Owliver is the one capability with a cost per question behind it — a model call over your own data — so it is an add-on on any plan rather than a line buried in every one. Enterprise is the one plan that includes it.
See it on your own farm first.
A demonstration estate is one sign-in away, and an implementation starts with your own herds, fields and Xero file — not a blank app.
